Family album
Reference
Leon shows Lilly and Chen his family album. Have a look at his three favorite pictures for which he has written brief individual descriptions. You can refer to the vocabulary list if you need to.
Then go to tab 3 and try to compose a description of your own. Play the role of John and send your friend Lin a commented picture of you and your family. Check your entry against the model answer available in Chinese with translation and dedicated vocabulary list.

Summer 2009 Great Wall
表弟小华（坐在我的前面），表哥志明（站在我的旁边）和我（穿着北京长城的纪念T恤）。
小华和志明来大陆旅游。小华那年夏天刚从香港大学毕业。我去北京同他们碰面。我们一起登上了长城。他们之后还去了西安，桂林和青岛。我没能同行，因为需要回上海工作。我们在北京玩得很愉快！

Hua and Zhiming on their trip around Mainland China. Hua just graduated from Hong Kong University
that summer. I went to Beijing to meet them. We climbed the Great Wall together. They went later on to
Xi’an, Guilin, and Qingdao. I could not join them as I had to return to Shanghai for work. We had a great
time in Beijing!

我们婚后在海南岛度了蜜月。
所有亲戚（除了在美国的堂哥大勇和他的妻子）都来参加了我们的婚礼。
我那天戴的领带是英送给我的第一份礼物！
最深刻的回忆：外公外婆那天也跳了舞，就好像在他们自己的婚礼上那样。我希望我们的婚姻生活也能像他们的一样甜蜜长久。

All the family came except cousin Yong and his wife who live in America.
The tie I was wearing on the day was the first gift that Ying gave me!
Favourite memory of the day: grandma and granddad dancing as if it was their own wedding day.
I hope we shall have as happy a marriage as theirs.
