Aims & Learning Objectives:
To extend knowledge and understanding of selected aspects of FH30054, FH30055, FH30056 and to critically review other topics outside the scope of the laboratory environment.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
Demonstrate an in depth knowledge and understanding of selected topics in sport and exercise biomechanics, physiology and psychology.
Content:
Directed topics in sports and exercise biomechanics, physiology and psychology to include computer simulation of human movement and sports equipment, altitude adaptations and training principles, ethics and confidentiality in sports psychology.
