Aims: To provide students with an introduction to key perspectives and concepts on how and why people behave at work - individually, in teams and corporately.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this module, students should be able to critically appraise a range of ideas and issues in organizational behaviour, and how they might apply in practice.
Skills:
Students will be assessed in their critical understanding of the organizational concepts taught during this course and their ability to apply concepts to organizational case studies.
Content:
Will include (but with possible substitutions): power and politics, group & team working ; leadership; power/empowerment; organizational culture; social responsibility and greening; bullying, stress and harassment; downsizing and change.
