            <p id="isPasted">The Academic Registry has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and adaptable administrator to join the Student Records team. In this varied role, you will help enhance our student records service and provide University-wide regulatory advice on student matters.</p><h2><strong>About the role</strong></h2><p>Working within the Student Records team you will:</p><ul><li>Help maintain the accuracy, integrity and effective use of the University&rsquo;s student record</li><li>Work as part of our Student Records team to deliver a high-quality service at every stage of the student journey.</li><li>Line manage a small operational group within this team, providing day-to-day leadership, support and development to ensure work is delivered to a high standard.</li><li>Take responsibility for complex and sensitive student records casework, applying judgement and interpreting regulations and policies to reach appropriate outcomes.</li><li>Work collaboratively across the University, to contribute to service improvements, support data quality, and help resolve complex regulatory queries.</li></ul><h2><strong>About you</strong></h2><p>You will be an experienced and adaptable administrator, with a background in Higher or Further Education, or a similar organisation. You will have a strong understanding of records management and proven experience of handling&nbsp;complex or sensitive casework, applying regulations and policies with sound professional judgement.</p><p>In addition, you will:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Bring line management or supervisory experience, with the ability to support and develop others.&nbsp;</li><li>Be confident working with data and systems, with a strong focus on accuracy and data quality.&nbsp;</li><li>Have excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and appropriately.</li><li>Be committed to delivering high‑quality, student‑focused services.</li></ul><p>You will also be digitally confident, able to use a range of systems and tools, and willing to learn and adopt new ways of working.</p><h2><strong>Further information</strong></h2><p>This role is full time (36.5 hours per week) and open ended.             <p id="isPasted">Student Support &amp; Safeguarding is looking for experienced and enthusiastic professionals to be a part of a multi-disciplinary team that provides the initial point of assessment, triage, and referral of students into specialist support, as well as helping to build students&rsquo; own resilience by giving guidance and advice towards managing and maintaining their own good mental health and wellbeing.&nbsp;</p><h2>About you</h2><p>You will:</p><ul><li>have experience of delivering pastoral support and providing welfare/wellbeing advice, including working to assess needs, levels of risk and triaging to appropriate support</li><li>have excellent customer service skills, with experience of working in a busy frontline environment</li><li>be confident in working with distress and dealing with sensitive themes</li></ul><p>Able to deal calmly with multiple competing priorities, your organisational skills will be highly effective, with a demonstrable commitment towards collaborative team working across multi-disciplinary professional boundaries.&nbsp;</p><h2>Further information</h2><p>This is a part-time role working 4 days per week (29.2 hours/0.8 fte) on a term-time only basis, covering 32 weeks per year, and includes occasional weekend working to support open days and arrivals.</p><p>The department offers hybrid working and supports flexible working requests; however, the balance of on-campus working may vary in line with student demand. You will typically be required to work on campus three days per week. With a clear mandate to deliver change at pace, you will assess current ways of working, consider the redesign of processes, and ensure robust controls and governance across the research funding lifecycle.</p><p>Working closely with colleagues across the University, you will develop and deliver a comprehensive transformation roadmap.             <h2 id="isPasted">About the role</h2><p>You will be an essential member of the team delivering the SAMBa (Statistical Applied Mathematics at Bath) Centre for Doctoral Training. SAMBa is a well-established research and training centre supporting approximately 150 PhD researchers and graduates. Though based in Mathematical Sciences at the University of Bath,&nbsp; we work closely with academics from many other disciplines, industrial partners, and international organisations to deliver excellent research with impact.&nbsp;</p><p>We are seeking a pro-active, self-motivated Centre Manager to job share with our current post holder. Although you should be prepared to cover any aspect of the role, we are particularly looking for someone to take on elements of governance (e.g., Advisory Board oversight, funder reporting requirements), follow up with partners (e.g., contract management) and training (e.g., exploring routes to deliver CPD).&nbsp;</p><h2>About you</h2><p>We are a friendly and inclusive team, keen to welcome people of all backgrounds and looking forward to someone who brings ideas and enthusiasm to the role, as well as a focus on delivery.</p><ul><li>You will be interested in mathematical sciences research and supporting people (particularly at postgraduate level) to deliver it.</li><li>You will be committed and entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a team consisting of academics and professional services staff.</li><li>Your skill set means that you will be comfortable working with a large portfolio of information, and diverse stakeholders and collating data to meet the reporting requirements from our funders.</li><li>Previous experience will enable you to work effectively with collaborators outside of the University, and teams within the institution to enable delivery of collaborative research, including co-funded PhD agreements.</li><li>You will be an excellent communicator who is able to think strategically, solve problems effectively, and manage your own time and workload.</li></ul><h2>Further information</h2><p>The position can be held at between 0.5 and 0.6 FTE and we are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements although we do expect the post-holder to be present on campus at least 2 days per week.             <h2>About the role</h2><p id="isPasted">This role will be supporting the University&rsquo;s CLEAR (Cloud-Enabling and Agresso Re-platforming) project which is a key University Strategic Project due to be delivered in February 2027. &nbsp;The CLEAR project aims:</p><ul><li>To ensure a fit for purpose, supported finance system with supplier Unit4</li><li>Reimagine how we use a finance system to optimise functionality (adopt not adapt)</li><li>Put in place the technology foundations to enable a finance system and other systems to migrate to the cloud</li><li>&nbsp;Align with the University&#39;s Data &amp; Insight reporting strategy of obtaining operational reporting from core systems.</li></ul><p>The Digital Training Officer (Systems Implementation) will support the HR Lead (Strategic Change &amp; Projects) to ensure staff and students are trained on the new Unit4 system in preparation for go live in February 2027.             <h2 id="isPasted">About the role</h2><p>You will act as Research Project Coordinator to support the &pound;4M EPSRC programme grant &ldquo;Unifying Arithmetic Statistics&rdquo; starting in October 2026 and lasting for 5 years.</p><p>The programme grant lies in pure mathematics with Bath as the lead organisation and co-leads in Kings College London, Cambridge, and Glasgow. The aims are to make progress on foundational problems in number theory. The appointee will be required to develop working relationships with the academic staff from across the consortium and expected to have a deep and intuitive understanding of the academic research environment.&nbsp;</p><p>As the appointment will be made at the project&rsquo;s inception, it is anticipated that the role will evolve and it is essential that the appointee has a flexible, problem solving approach, using sound judgement and creativity.&nbsp;</p><p>The ideal candidate will have experience with project management on a large scale multi-institution project, as well as familiarity with the higher education system and university research culture. They will be pro-active in their approach and have an independent working ethos. This includes monitoring performance, managing training loads, and maintaining strong communication with key stakeholders to ensure a cohesive support network around each athlete.
