The Quads won the silver award for Best Accommodation at the British Youth Travel Awards on 29 November 2018.
ahs was recognised for the facilities and service provided to our summer school guests that stay with us from June to September.
The flexible design of The Quads means it can serve as student accommodation during the academic term and also for summer schools during the vacation.
The communal social spaces can convert into classrooms or training rooms, so summer school organisers can use the accommodation as needed.

Our summer marketing campaign with VisitBath highlighted the quirky, more unusual side of the city. This was to attract a new target audience of millennials and promote our ‘unexpectedly affordable' accommodation.

The Quads has a variety of features suitable for disabled guests. We have a strong commitment to sustainability and are always looking at ways to reduce waste.
Commitment to health and safety
We have a very safe campus, with a Security team available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We also provide very specific health and safety information to summer schools before their arrival.
Impact on local destination
Our thousands of guests that stay each summer contribute significantly to the local visitor economy.
