Our experience with Toshiba
Toshiba are more reliable than some other manufacturers in terms of faults, generally they can offer comparable performance to their competitors at lower prices and have a larger product range. Until August of last year they were one of our top sellers. Since then they have been overtaken by Samsung.

Dell
Our experience with Dell
Dell gives a reasonable customer experience and over the years we have been satisfied with the service so we see them generally as a good supplier. What makes Dell different is their ability to offer bespoke systems where as other manufacturer’s only offer off the shelf.

Please use the Dell website to choose and specify the Dell laptop, then send or take a print out (with product codes) to ITP for a re-quote at our contract prices.

Ergo
Our experience with Ergo
They tend to be more expensive than their competitors but this is made up for by their long term warranty's and support. They also offer printed screen backs with the Bath University logo though this does add a week onto the ordering time. Again like Dell, Ergo can offer bespoke systems where as other manufacturer’s only offer off the shelf.
