Helping you succeed

Why did you choose to do a Pre-sessional course at Bath?

I thought I might not have the necessary academic writing skills in order to be successful in my MSc, so I wanted to learn how to use references and citations properly. I also knew that Bath was one of the most beautiful historic places in the world and I had heard it is a safe place to live, so I wanted to come here.

What did you like most?

Not only did the Pre-sessional course give me a good grounding in academic writing, but it also trained me in different types of English pronunciation. This really helped me to make friends in Bath.

Would you recommend a Pre-sessional course at Bath?

I think if I didn’t study on the Pre-sessional course at Bath, I would have experienced real problems during my MSc with my academic writing. Doing the pre-sessional was a really significant step for me to prepare for my Master’s degree, so I would really recommend it to other students.

What are your career plans?

I want to set up my own technology business, which is why I decided to study MSc Management with Marketing at the University of Bath. I believe my course will give me the business knowledge I need to face the world’s challenges and achieve my goal of starting my own company.

‘Deciding to join the Pre-sessional course was a significant step for me in preparing to take my Master’s degree.’
