St Michael's Twerton is a Community Missionary Church. St Michael's aims to make a difference in one of the poorest parts of Bath, building a vibrant Christian Community that reaches out to people who have hardly ever been to church in their lives. The Twerton church is learning what it means to be a missional community - a church for local people. Twerton is the large estate on the west of the city and consequently suffers from many of the problems that you might associate with such an area but the church wants to be peddlers of hope. The church's aim is to build relationships and make a difference; they want to grow in community, worship, discipleship and mission.
