Student Academic Appeals Committee

University representatives required to be members of the Student Academic Appeals Committee.


Factsheet

The Committee is responsible for considering and determining appeals from students who disagree with the outcome of a review hearing.

Hearings are held in accordance with Regulation 17 (Academic Reviews and Appeals).

Students may wish for the committee to consider further evidence or procedural irregularities through an appeal.

Membership

  • A Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Chair)
  • Four academic members of staff, two of which are members of a Faculty or School Board of Studies and two of which are members of the panels appointed by Faculties and Schools to serve on Review Sub-Committees
