Dependants of any student should be granted the same period as the student.
Getting your visa errors corrected
If you have a full visa in your passport which was issued overseas (Entry Clearance), visit gov.uk to correct your endorsement.
If you have a Biometric Residence permit, you need to:
inform an Immigration Student Adviser if you applied it in the UK and the error is with your expiry date or the conditions of the visa (for example, work) before applying for an Administrative Review
complete the online form and wait for further instructions from UKVI via email for all other corrections
After submitting your corrections
Be prepared to wait as caseworkers may take a while to respond. Don't let your visa expire while waiting for a response.
