Best practice in surveys
Collecting feedback from student surveys is most successful when:
- a survey has high-response rates
- the questions are well-designed
- the results are communicated to an appropriate audience
- using a survey is the best method of capturing data
- students are made aware of the results and the corresponding actions that will follow.
To make sure that surveys continue to be a effective method of gaining student feedback at the University, we have put in place a protocol for their use and have provided guidance on survey creation.
