Recognised technologies
The e-Learning Team recognises some technologies as important for enhancing learning and teaching, but does not have ownership and/or full control over them.
Technologies which are piloted by us will have our full support, but core technologies remain our key priority.
Recognised technologies include those that are:
- owned and fully supported by other professional services within the University
- externally hosted tools and services
- being piloted and are not fully available or embedded across the institution.
Recognised technologies supported by the e-Learning Team include:
- Confluence wiki
- Mahara e-portfolios
- Panopto lecture capture
- QR codes
- Turning Point electronic voting system (EVS)
- TurnItIn (integrated with Moodle)
- Web-conferencing with Adobe Connect
- Xerte e-learning authoring tools
