Public Engagement Conversations
Public engagement conversations provide a regular opportunity to network with others about engagement-related themes.
-
Interested in public engagement?
-
Want to meet like-minded people at the University?
-
Looking for some inspiring ideas?
Then come along to one of our Public Engagement Conversations, held at regular points throughout the year.
There is a wealth of engagement-related expertise across our University and outside of it and our free conversations are a quick way for people to share their ideas and experiences. Everyone is welcome - no experience in engagement activities is required.
Each conversation takes the format of researchers and professionals from within and without the University presenting on an area of interest, followed by Q&As. Sessions always run on a Wednesday afternoon, 1.15 - 2.30pm; attendees are encouraged to network following the event and tea, coffee, and biscuits are provided.
Upcoming conversations
Due to a current shortage of staff, we've had to postpone our plans for Public Engagement Conversations for Semester (2), but hope to be able schedule future conversations for later in 2017.
