Alim Baluch earned his PhD in political science at the Leibniz University of Hannover (Germany) where he was the convenor of the European Studies postgraduate programme. He has taught at the Leibniz University, University of Hildesheim and in the School of ELT at the University of St Andrews. His teaching focuses on integration theory, state-building and Europe’s post war history. Dr Baluch's research examines international rule as well as institutionalised governance in Europe.
