Doctoral College Recruitment and Programmes team

We provide operational management for the recruitment, admission, student lifecycle and programme administration for PhDs and Professional Doctorates.

Our responsibilities include:

  • Providing information for prospective doctoral applicants
  • Helping departments to match candidates with potential supervisors
  • With Finance, advising on fees and funding
  • Managing admissions processes
  • Coordinating and supporting the promotion and allocation of doctoral funding
  • Data capture and reporting against recruitment targets
  • Processing and monitoring student progression, examination and awards
  • Quality assurance arrangements
  • Data capture and reporting
  • Servicing the Board of Studies (Doctoral) and other relevant committees

We're based in 10W 3.51 (recruitment) and 10W 3.54 (programmes).
