Thank you to all those who responded to our recent call out for Arabic-speaking volunteers. We've had a good response and recruited some new volunteers, however we still require one Farsi-speaking volunteer to help with the Refugee Integration Project.

What is the Refugee Integration Project?

The Centre for Learning and Teaching is currently working on the Refugee Integration Project which has been ongoing for just over three years. The aim of the project is to use the services at the University and work with local charities to make these services accessible for refugees within the community of Bath and parts of North-East Somerset.

We are currently planning projects related to sports and arts activities for children under the age of 16, as well as employability advice delivered in workshops for parents within the family. To deliver these services we still require the help of a Farsi-speaking translator.

Do you have these skills or know of someone who does?

This is a great opportunity to learn new business skills, enhance your CV, support a charity and speak Farsi for the University's Refugee Integration Project. If you’re interested, please send your name and university username to Miranda Dockley.
