The Bath Pride picnic and parade will be on Saturday 26 July, with a picnic from 11am to 5pm in the Sydney Gardens park. Activities will include performances from circus acts and drag performers, music, poetry, storytelling and spoken word, face-painting and temporary tattoos, crafting, and outdoor games, and there's lots of space to picnic and socialise.
The University will have a stall at the picnic event in Sydney Gardens and all staff and students are invited to join. If you're interested in helping at the stall, please contact our University LGBTQ+ Lead, Catherine Butler.
The parade will start at 12pm in Sydney Gardens, going along Great Pulteney Street to Grand Parade, a loop along Cheap Street and Union Street, onto Upper Borough Walls and Bridge Street, and then back along Great Pulteney Street to finish back in Sydney Gardens. The route is mostly flat with a slight incline up Cheap Street, and trained volunteer stewards will be there to assist you on the way.
