Professor Tony James, Professor Lorraine Whitmarsh and Professor Dhruv Grewal have all been listed in this year’s Highly Cited Researcher List 2022, compiled by the education analytics company Clarivate PLC.
The ranking, which is released today (Tuesday 15 November), draws on data from the Web of Science citation index, together with analysis performed by bibliometric experts and data scientists at Clarivate.
Professor James, Whitmarsh and Grewal are among 6,938 researchers listed from around the globe who have demonstrated significant research influence over a sustained period.
Tony James is a Professor in our Department of Chemistry and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. His research includes developing sensors for continuous glucose monitoring for use by diabetics or intensive care units, and probes for monitoring diseases associated with redox imbalance. He is visiting professor at multiple international universities and he has industrial and academic collaborators across the world.
Lorraine Whitmarsh MBE is a Professor in our Department of Psychology and Director of the Centre for Climate Change and Social Transformations. Her research projects have included studies of energy efficiency behaviours, waste reduction and low-carbon lifestyles, as well as responses to climate change.
Dhruv Grewal is a Professor of Marketing and Toyota Chair of Commerce and Electronic Business based at Babson College (US) but is also affiliated to our School of Management. His research focus covers marketing, pricing, retailing, strategy, and consumer behaviour.
