The BaNES Wellbeing Service will be coming to Campus this October. Between 13 to 15 October, they will be offering NHS health checks for staff.
An NHS Health Check is a free check-up delivered by health professionals for adults aged 40 to 74 who have not had a stroke, or been diagnosed with diabetes, kidney disease or a heart condition including high blood pressure or high cholesterol. The check will include:
- height, weight, BMI, waist measurements
- blood pressure
- cholesterol
- blood glucose level
- cardiovascular disease risk
Each appointment will last 30 minutes and takes place in a private space on the Health Check bus which will be located outside School of Management.
Dates: 13, 14, 15 October Location: Outside School of Management, 8.00am to 4.00pm
To book, call 0300 247 0050. You will be asked to do a pre-screen questionnaire with a member of the health team. You may also be able to attend a drop-in appointment on the day if there are spaces.
