Membership of the WHO/Europe Public Health Innovation Platform

We are delighted to join the WHO/Europe Public Health Innovation Platform, a collaborative, WHO-hosted network designed to catalyse system-level transformation in public health across the European Region.

WHO/Europe welcomed the Centre's membership, highlighting our strong record in advancing public health innovation.

The platform aims to bring together innovative institutions, WHO collaborating centres, intergovernmental organisations and non-State actors to co-create, scale and sustain impactful solutions that tackle health inequalities and deliver measurable population-level benefits.

As a participating organisation, the Centre will contribute to: - Collaborating with leading institutions to advance public health innovation across the WHO European Region - co-creating and piloting solutions to priority public health challenges -scaling innovations for broad, equitable impact - Strengthening knowledge exchange through digital platforms and annual participant meetings - Shaping enabling environments through policy , regulatory and advocacy discussions

Network membership of the NCD Alliance

The Centre has also joined the NCD Alliance, as a Network Member. The alliance brings together a global network of hundreds of civil society organisations working collectively to advance the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs).

The NCD Alliance unites a broad community of organisations spanning disease-specific groups, risk-factor organisations, community groups and global health advocates. Together, the Alliance works to influence policy, strengthen accountability, and promote action on NCDs under a common voice.

Amy Thompson, Director of Operations in the C21PH said: 'We are delighted to join both the WHO/Europe Public Health Innovation Platform and the NCD Alliance as a network member. These memberships offer an incredible opportunity to collaborate with leading institutions and civil society partners, co-create innovative solutions, and drive meaningful, equitable impact in public health. We look forward to contributing our expertise, sharing knowledge, and advancing initiatives that improve health outcomes and tackle inequalities across Europe and globally.'

The Centre looks forward to actively contributing to both networks and exploring new collaborations that advance our research priorities.
