What's changing
- From the start of September, existing installations of Visio and Project 2016/2019 will be automatically removed from University-managed devices
Additionally, Visio and Project desktop applications will no longer be available on:
- AdminDesk and UniDesk
- Departmental teaching space PCs
- Shared and public access PCs (e.g. Library, General Teaching Areas)
Why this is happening
Microsoft is ending Visio and Project 2016/2019 support in October 2025. To remain secure and compliant, these versions must be removed from University-managed devices by this date.
