The University is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all staff and students. As part of this commitment, the #NeverOK - Active Respect: Rights and Responsibilities & Bystander training is mandatory for all staff members. Please ensure you complete the refreshed #NeverOK training by 31 October 2025. This can be accessed via Moodle. Those who have undertaken the previous “Be the Change” training still need to undertake the #NeverOK training by 31 October.

This training covers topics such as understanding harassment and sexual misconduct, personal and professional relationships, and bystander intervention. You will gain valuable knowledge and skills to foster a culture of respect, equality, and inclusivity within our community.

Completing this training is an important part of ensuring the University's regulatory compliance with Office for Students' Condition E6, This requires all higher education institutions to take robust, proactive steps to prevent and respond to harassment and sexual misconduct towards students.

If you need assistance or have any questions, reach out to the new staff Culture and Inclusion Training Officer, Matthew Mesley on mm4136@bath.ac.uk, or attend one of the upcoming drop-in help sessions in the Wessex House Staff Hub (Booth 3):
