In September, the University extended information classifying and labelling to all information that is created to be shared.
By adding classification labels to communicate the value of our information, it informs the level of protection needed to keep it safe when it's Stored, Shared, and Destroyed.
Complete the optional bite-sized course to learn more about information security when Storing, Sharing and Destroying information.
Bite-sized course available from Thursday 12 February
All staff will receive an email from no-reply@metacompliance.com inviting you to complete a course titled 'Keeping information safe: Storing, Sharing, Destruction'.
The optional course is:
- Bite-sized (less than 15 minutes long)
- Designed to help you understand and appropriately protect information when you store, share, and destroy it
- Features messages from Dr Andy Fincham, the University's Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)
Other ways to access the course
Once you've received an email, the course will be available to you within the University's MetaCompliance platform.
You can access and re-visit any of your bite-sized courses directly by visiting your MyCompliance Library. You may need to toggle to the 'Complete' view to see training you've previously completed.
