Do you have an idea to make your research project, activity, student society or sports club better?
We can help you get funding for all your bright ideas with Crowdfunding at Bath – the University’s new crowdfunding site.
3 reasons to use Crowdfunding at Bath:
No fees. The University of Bath will meet any payment fees so your project receives 100% of the donation.
Gift Aid. The Department of Development & Alumni Relations can claim Gift Aid on donations on your behalf. That’s up to 25% more income for your crowdfunding project.
Support. We can help with creating your case for support, building your page and administration of gifts.
Luke Walmsley is Treasurer of V Team, the University’s student community volunteering group. V Team used Crowdfunding at Bath in December to raise £137 to put on a Christmas party for school children in Twerton.
Our crowdfunding was a huge success; the platform allowed for a quick and easy way for our membership and friends to support our project. Setting up the page was very straightforward, then we raised awareness through our existing social media and membership channels. The Alumni Relations team guided us through the whole process. Crowdfunding at Bath has the scope and flexibility to help raise awareness and fundraise for all sorts of projects in the future.
