8–9 July | American Museum, Bath
As the University of Bath introduces its new two-lane approach to GenAI and assessment in AY26/27, this two-day studio supports teaching staff to design practical approaches to education in an open-lane context — where students have access to Generative AI tools.
Combining critical reflection with collaborative design, the studio will explore the changing relationship between curriculum, pedagogy and assessment in an AI age. Alongside practical questions of teaching delivery and assessment design, participants will also be encouraged to reflect on broader questions relating to knowledge, learning, ethics and care.
The studio welcomes colleagues from across disciplines, including those who are AI-critical or at an early stage in thinking about GenAI and teaching. Participants do not need to arrive with fully formed redesign ideas — the emphasis is on open, collaborative inquiry and experimentation.
Places are limited. Submit your expression of interest via the link below by 5pm Friday 29 May.
