The Skills Centre’s Skills for Success sessions explore how to write with clearer structure and flow, develop a confident academic voice, use evidence effectively, and avoid plagiarism through accurate referencing.
What to expect
Workshops run both online and on campus and are open to all students. Whether you are preparing for assessments or beginning work on your dissertation, there will be a workshop to suit your needs. You can book onto as many of the workshops as you want, but places are limited so we recommend booking early to secure your spot.

If you would like more personalised support, you can book a 1:1 writing tutorial or request written feedback on up to 3,000 words of your work. Like the workshops, tutorials and Email Feedback on Writing are available to all students. You can have as many appointments as you want, but you can only have one booked at a time.
