An underlying bug requires us to temporarily adjust the configuration we deploy to managed iOS devices, resulting in the temporary removal of certificate-based authentication when connected to eduroam.

What this means for you

From 6pm on Thurs 17 March, you will notice that your existing eduroam connection will disconnect and you will need to re-authenticate with your username and password.

Please note: certificate-based authentication to VPN will not be affected by this configuration update and will continue to function on your device as it did before.

When this will be resolved

We continue to work closely with our service provider on this issue to fix the underlying bug. Once resolved, we will re-deploy certificate-based authentication for eduroam on managed iOS devices.
