Dear colleagues,
I’m pleased to share that we have made two key appointments to strengthen our global engagement efforts at a pivotal time, as the University intensifies its commitment to delivering the International Strategic Plan.
Dr Peter Nuttall has been appointed as Interim Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Global Engagement).
Peter will support the PVC (Global Engagement) in leading the University’s global engagement strategy, focusing on expanding our international partnerships and enhancing our global presence.
Peter is Associate Professor in Marketing and has worked for the University since 2008. He has several years of experience working at executive level for the School of Management including his current role as Associate Dean International. Peter also has previous experience of leadership at institutional level as the Academic Director of International Partnerships and Interim Head of the International Relations Office. He travels extensively on behalf of the University and is Chair of the University’s QS Working Group.
Jenny Davies joins us as Executive Officer (Global Engagement) in a newly established role.
Jenny will provide high-level executive support to the team, advancing our global engagement priorities and playing a key role in developing new Transnational Education initiatives. She brings extensive experience in communications, project management and executive administration across the higher education, legal, charity and consultancy sectors.
She previously held senior communications roles at Bath Spa University and the Royal High School Bath, where she led on strategic communications and marketing initiatives, contributing to student growth and institutional visibility.
Please join me in congratulating Peter and Jenny on their appointments.
Best wishes,
Manuel
