Dear colleagues,
I would like to thank everyone involved in the successful Open Days this past weekend for their hard work, commitment and support of the University.
The event days were incredibly busy with just under 25,000 visitors in total and it was wonderful to experience once again the real buzz these events bring to campus. The atmosphere was, as always, lively and engaging and I heard many positive comments from prospective students and their families.
Whether you were setting up the campus in the early hours, giving a talk, leading a tour, staffing a stand in the Information Fair, or welcoming and helping visitors to campus, I would like to thank you for all you have done. Your help and support are much appreciated and exemplifies the fantastic community we have at Bath.
A great deal of work is involved in planning and ensuring these events run smoothly and I would particularly like to thank colleagues in facilities services, hospitality and security, the events team, and our many student ambassadors - it really is a team effort.
If you have any feedback about the Open Days, we would be really pleased to hear from you and would ask you to email Lucy Perry on lvp27@bath.ac.uk.
With thanks and best wishes,
Professor Julian Chaudhuri
Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education)
