This September, the Skills Centre is launching a new set of short academic skills tutorials to support students preparing for the upcoming semester. Whether you're returning from placement, starting a postgraduate course, or are coming back early and want to get organised, these sessions offer a chance to refresh your study skills and ask questions before teaching begins.
The tutorials run from 15 to 25 September and are designed to help you feel more confident and ready for the academic year.
About the tutorials
These tutorials will build your confidence and help you get organised ahead of the new academic year. It’s a simple way to reconnect with your academic skills and start the semester feeling prepared.
Each tutorial lasts 25 minutes and provides the opportunity to speak with a member of the Skills Centre team. Sessions are consultative and tailored to your needs. You can choose to attend online or in person.
Who they are for
These tutorials are aimed at postgraduate taught students, students returning from placement, and students who have come back early and would like support before the semester starts.
When and how to book
Tutorials are now live and available to book. Visit MySkills to browse available sessions and choose a time that suits you.
