Dear colleagues,
I would like to thank everyone involved in our September Open Day, we were delighted with another successful event that showcased the best of our University community and our fantastic facilities.
Putting on these Open Days wouldn’t be possible without the hard work and dedication of our staff volunteers and student ambassadors.
With over 15,000 visitors it was one of our busiest Open Days ever, and we truly made the most of the late summer warm weather to show our beautiful campus at its best.
A highlight for me is speaking to our potential applicants and their families who are excited about the prospect of studying with us, and hearing the many positive comments about what we have to offer.
I’m sure you can appreciate how much work is involved in hosting these events, so I would like to thank everyone who has worked so hard, including the Events team, facilities services, hospitality and security. The Open Days are always a team effort, which demonstrate how effectively we work together. Our student ambassadors are also key to the success of the day; our visitors love hearing about their enthusiasm for their course, our University, and the City of Bath.
So thank you once again for your work, whether you were involved in preparing campus, welcoming our visitors, giving a talk, helping guests in the Information Fair or on a stand, working in hospitality, or keeping everyone safe throughout the day.
If you have any feedback on the Open Day, or suggestions for our future events, we would welcome your comments; please email the Events team.
With thanks and best wishes,
Professor Julian Chaudhuri Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education & Global)
