Sue passed away on 3 December 2025 and was held in very high esteem by the University throughout her time working as a Domestic Assistant for just over 17 years in ResLife Operations. She was a dedicated and hardworking member of the team, a wonderful colleague and close friend to many. Sue’s brother Brian is also an extremely valued member of the Campus Services team where he works as a Security Officer. Sue’s friends and colleagues have shared how kind, warm and positive Sue was and how deeply they will miss seeing her.
Ali, Lisa, Wendy and Rachel have shared:
Sue wasn’t just a work colleague; she was a very loyal, generous and kind-hearted friend. She has been on a journey the last couple of years and had overcome so much. It’s so sad for it to have ended this way. Your absence will be noticed – and felt. Gone from our sight, but never from our heart.
