Three trees located south of Arrivals Square on campus have recently been inspected by a tree consultant. Regrettably, they are deteriorating due to the presence of ash dieback. Following on from this assessment, the BANES Tree Officer has given us permission to take these trees down. Felling works started on 10 July.

A specialist consultant has just completed a survey of every tree on campus as a first step to creating a campus-wide Tree Strategy. This will inform how trees are managed and replaced across campus going forward and we’ll be letting everyone know as soon as it’s finalised.
