Rob Edinburgh, PhD Programme in Health, has done it again!

Rob's Three Minute Thesis presentation 'Move your feet before (or after) you eat?' impressed the national judging panel and he will now go head to head with five other PhD students at the National Three Minute Thesis ® Final in Birmingham on 16 September.

3MT ® challenges students to present their entire thesis - usually around 80,000 words - in just three minutes, using one Powerpoint slide and no other resources.

70 universities took part in this year's competition, each hosting their own 3MT® heats before submitting recordings of their winning student's presentation to a national judging panel.

After winning Bath's 3MT® in June, Rob's presentation went on to secure a place in the final six; it's a tremendous achievement. Hearing the news last Friday, Rob said: "The adventure continues! Can't wait for the next round".

Good luck Rob and many congratulations to all the talented researchers who took part in 3MT® this year.
