The Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) team is offering training sessions to help academic staff use equipment in teaching spaces effectively, supporting teaching in Semesters 1 and 2. The sessions will enable all staff to have confidence in the learning spaces and make the most of the available resources.
Overview of the training sessions
All academic staff are encouraged to attend a session to gain a clear understanding of the technology in their learning spaces, helping to ensure a smooth and effective experience for both staff and students.
Each training session will offer the following:
- Learn how the learning space equipment works
- Find out how to report issues and access support
- Understand the technical capabilities of the rooms
- Meet the support team and ask questions
- Familiarise yourself with learning spaces, with technical support available

How to book
There will be 10 spaces available at each Using DDaT IT & AV Equipment in Learning Spaces session and all sessions will be delivered in person. Each session is limited to 10 places. Please book in advance through Employee Self-Service (ESS).
- Book your place through Employee Self-Service (ESS) using your University username and password.
- If you need help booking or cancelling your place, step-by-step booking instructions are available for download. If you need to cancel, please provide at least three days' notice to allow others the opportunity to book.
