The Library Nook is a student-designed, cosy and relaxing space where you can access a wide selection of reading for pleasure and wellbeing books and our new board games collection.

It’s open for use now, with the formal launch event on 29th September.

It's called the ‘Nook’ because we’d like to make the space a cosy "go to" destination for students and staff who need to take a break and enjoy a relaxing read.

You can find it at the back of Library Level 2, with more materials in the complementary 'Little Nook' opposite the lift. Why not pop by to explore what’s on offer!

The Nook is supported by the Alumni and Student Experience funds, and was developed over Spring/Summer 2025. Find out more about the development of the Nook space on the Library blog.
