The Mobility team are delighted to announce the winner of the Turing Stories Contest 2025. The theme of the contest was to communicate the positive impact that Turing Scheme funding has had on student experience abroad.

Students were invited to submit an entry for the chance to win £300 for a video diary, £200 for a blog post and £100 for a photograph with a caption.

Thank you to all students who took time to submit an entry for this contest. The standard was exceptionally high.

Winner

The winner was Aditi Thayyur who submitted a video diary of her experience while studying abroad in Japan. The mobility team, who judged this contest, said of Aditi's entry:

A wonderfully engaging and enjoyable video that truly captured Aditi’s authentic experience in Japan. Every element was thoughtfully crafted, from the music to the use of Japanese language, making Aditi a standout and deserving winner.
