In 2026 the University is honouring International Women’s Day (IWD) throughout March. As the global theme this year is ‘Give to Gain’, we want to encourage a spirit of community, collaboration, and celebration here at Bath.

As part of our programme we want to hear from our students, staff and alumni answering the question: What is the best piece of advice another woman has ever given you?

We’re asking you to send in short video clips (up to 10 seconds, filmed in portrait) with your best advice to share with other women here at Bath. It could be on the topic of work, study, imposter syndrome, health or anything else! These clips will then be edited into compilations for social media.

Send your video to diversity@bath.ac.uk by 30 January 2026.

Your videos will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act, and you can ask the University to stop using it at any time.
