Chemistry Applicant Visit Days

We run Applicant Visit Days for our undergraduate degree offer holders between November and March. Find out more about why you should attend one.

Guidance relating to coronavirus (COVID-19)

Based on the latest information from the UK Government, in person Applicant Visit Days are not currently able to go ahead. In their place, we are running Virtual Applicant Visit Days.

You can read our latest information and advice for visitors regarding coronavirus.

Our Applicant Visit Days normally run from December to April. These are for offer holders for our undergraduate Chemistry course.

Find out more about the course and the University

The aim of the day is to help you in your decision making.

You’ll learn more about studying chemistry at Bath by taking an in depth look at our facilities and listening to talks on the course.

You’ll also meet the lecturers and have a one-to-one session with an academic member of staff, where you’ll chat about why you want to study chemistry and what you’ll learn on the course.

Our weekday Applicant Visit Days normally start at 10.45am and finish around 3.30pm. Our Saturday days normally start and finish a bit earlier.

What to expect from the day

Helping you decide if the University of Bath is for you.

Learn what student life is really like

No one knows what it’s like to be a chemistry student at Bath better than our current students.

They’ll be there on the day to answer any questions you have and to chat to you about their experiences. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore the campus and visit student accommodation on a campus tour.

Campus life isn't just about studying and there are many ways that you can make the most of your university experience. While you're here, you could visit our Sports Training Village (STV), where you'll have access to the same facilities used by Olympic athletes. You could see our Students' Union, food outlets and the campus pub and night club. You could also visit The Edge, our arts centre where you can take dance, art and music classes.

Visit the city while you're here

The City of Bath is only a short bus ride away. Why not take the opportunity to visit the city after your day with us has finished?

Royal Crescent

Students make up around a quarter of the city of Bath's population. Find out what Bath and the South West have to offer you as a student living here.

LIVING OUTSIDE OF THE UK?

We understand it's not always possible to visit the University for an Applicant Visit Day.
