EduFest 2026 - Call for Participation
To learn from and celebrate the excellent work carried out here at the University of Bath, we are inviting colleagues to submit proposals
During EduFest 2026 we invite you to share your innovative and inclusive practices that shape the future of higher education. We welcome contributions from academics, professional services staff, and students.
This year’s week-long programme will be carefully designed to support colleagues in reflecting on and enhancing their approaches to learning and teaching. Across five days.
Monday 15th, Tuesday 16th, Thursday 18th and Friday 19th June will be workshops held online. Wednesday 17th June 2026 will be our in person celebratory event.
Call for participation: To learn from and celebrate the excellent work carried out here at the University of Bath, we are inviting colleagues to submit proposals that reflect on these challenges for Talking Points, Lightning Talks or workshops. We welcome papers that address a wide range of topics related to teaching online, including but not limited to:
Inclusive Teaching and Assessment; Exploring strategies that support diverse learners, promote equity, and foster inclusive learning environments.
Postgraduate Taught (PGT) Experience; Enhancing the academic and pastoral support for PGT students, including curriculum design, community building, and transitions.
Generative AI in Education; Investigating the opportunities and challenges of AI tools in teaching, learning, and assessment. How can we harness AI ethically and effectively?
Assessment & Feedback; Rethinking assessment practices to ensure they are meaningful, authentic, and supportive of student learning. Innovations in feedback delivery and engagement.
Student Engagement; Approaches to fostering active learning, co-creation, and partnership with students across disciplines and levels.
