In partnership with Study UK and the GREAT Britain campaign, we are offering one £10,000 scholarship to master's students from Indonesia.

Indonesia GREAT Scholarship 2023

The University of Bath is offering one scholarship worth £10,000 to students in Indonesia applying for eligible postgraduate taught courses for 2023.


GREAT Scholarships 2023, launched by the British Council's Study UK campaign together with a number of other UK universities, supports students from 14 countries to access world-class UK higher education opportunities.

The Study UK campaign is offering 150 scholarships from UK universities to students across 14 countries around the world. It offers an exciting opportunity for students from these countries to get financial support to pursue postgraduate study in the UK.

Eligibility criteria

Find out if you're eligible for a GREAT Scholarship Indonesia.


To apply for this GREAT scholarship, you must:

  • hold an offer from the University of Bath for a full-time, postgraduate taught master's course* starting in 2023
  • be a national of Indonesia and hold an Indonesian passport
  • have international tuition fee status

We're looking for outstanding candidates with a background of academic success who have work experience or a proven interest in their proposed subject area.

We welcome applications from students who are committed to their studies and who will be able to benefit from studying a postgraduate course at the University of Bath.

We encourage you to apply if you can demonstrate your interest in your chosen subject, through examples of your work or academic experience. GREAT scholars are expected to attend lectures and tutorials (whether online or in-person, as circumstances allow) and engage with extra-curricular activities.

You will act as an ambassador for UK higher education by sharing your experiences and promoting the value of studying at a UK university. You may also be asked to attend a networking event with other GREAT scholars, to discuss experiences so we can capture perceptions of studying in the UK. After your studies, you will be expected to maintain contact with the British Council and act as an ambassador for GREAT.
