Dr Steve Flower welcomes students who are joining the Department for the 2022/23 academic year.

I look forward to meeting you in September and welcoming you to the University of Bath – and more importantly – to the Department of Chemistry!

Our Welcome Week in Chemistry traditionally has activities to help you get to know the Department and understand what your course will involve. A lot of this information and resource is now available online before we start our Welcome Week on Monday26th September. Please do make sure you have watched the recordings we have shared with you and ticked things off our “Induction To Do” list! Life at University can be a rollercoaster. We will continue to adapt to the new “blended” way of teaching and learning together - let’s remember to be kind to ourselves and we are not alone. As your Director of Studies, I’m here to help - my email inbox is always open!
