Carol Bryant attended Anstey College of Physical Education in Birmingham. She played hockey at county and territorial level before being selected for the national team. She was also a member of the All England Women's Hockey Association (AEWHA) touring team that visited South Africa and the USA.

The collection comprises three scrapbooks and associated material relating to international hockey tours during the early 1960s.

The collection was donated to the University of Bath by Carol Bryant's family in 2018.
