We provide Size Exclusion Chromatography (formerly known as Gel Permeation Chromatography, GPC) that measures the distribution of molecular masses in a polymer.

The instrument is a 1260 GPC/SEC MDS from Agilent, equipped with:

• triple detection: differential refractive index, viscometer and dual angle light scattering
• two columns PLgel 5 µm MIXED-D 300 x 7.5 mm (with a guard column PLgel 5 µm MIXED Guard 50 x 7.5 mm)
• tetrahydrofuran (THF) as mobile phase
• columns and detectors all maintained at 35°C
• calibration using a set of polystyrene or poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) standards
