Procurement contract opportunities

This page is to help suppliers understand how the University advertises its Procurement needs.

Policy

We advertise tender opportunities through Contracts Finder. You can find out further information about the opportunities and submit expressions of interest on their website.

The University of Bath’s eTendering programme is run in conjunction with BIPS DELTA. Before you can participate in a University of Bath tender you must have an account which you can register for on the Delta eSourcing website.

If you are already registered you will not need to register again, simply use your existing username and password. Please note there is a password reminder link on the Delta eSourcing homepage. You can find out how to use the eSourcing tool on their Resources menu.

Using Delta eSourcing to express an interest

To “express an interest” in an opportunity log in, go to your Response Manager and add the Access Code supplied in the advert for the specific requirement.

Please make sure you carefully follow all instruction provided in Delta and pay particular attention to THE DEADLINE (TIME AND DATE) for submitting your response(s). FAILURE TO SUBMIT ON TIME WILL RESULT IN EXCLUSION FROM THE TENDER. In particular, please make sure that you allow plenty of time when responding if you have been asked to “upload” response documents.

Open tenders

For an Open Tender (procedure) all respondees meeting the deadline for expression of interest via Delta will be able to download our Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents.

Restricted tenders

For a Restricted Tender (Procedure) expressions of interest are by submission (in Delta) of responses to a Selection Questionnaire. Selection of Tenderers will be based solely on the Selection criteria set out for the specific requirement (details of which can be found on the right under SELECT.

Technical difficulties

If you experience any technical difficulties please contact the Delta eSourcing Helpdesk on call 0845 270 7050 or email Delta eSourcing.
