The new university-wide Research Ethics Committees will play a central role in our approach to research ethics and integrity. In addition to launching a new research ethics system, we are working hard to ensure that specific training and induction process is available to committee members.

This session will cover the following topics:

  • Main elements of review
  • Ethical principles
  • Role of the REC
  • Ethics vs regulatory compliance
  • Confidentiality and accountability
  • Virtues and values

The session will take place over Teams and will be recorded. Training materials will be available on this page after the training.
