Architecture
Undergraduate courses starting in 2027
Architecture is the practice of designing buildings, places and spaces. Architects use science, art and technology to create the built environment.
Contemporary architecture tries to integrate environmental and sustainable design principles with advanced technologies to produce innovative, useful and beautiful buildings. Our courses focus on complex design challenges to develop your design skills and teach you how cultural, historical and socio-economic factors inform design decisions. We also include a placement option on our MArch course so you can benefit from a mix of academic study and professional work experience. This helps you on your journey to qualify for registering as an Architect in the UK.
