Black History Month

October marks Black History Month in the UK. The conference aims to recognise the contribution and achievements of those with African or Caribbean heritage.

Since 2019, The Black History Month Planning Group is working throughout the year in collaboration with many different departments, the Student Union, and the equality and diversity team. Year round activities are being planned by lots of departments from the Sports Training Village to Widening Participation.

Inclusive chats with...

During previous BHM celebrations, the School of Management hosted a panel event discussing equality, diversity, and inclusion. Panelists included: Mary Agbesanwa from PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Kema Davies from Microsoft, and Nabeela Butt from GlaxoSmithKline.
