Our first speaker for the session will be Lorna Flintham. Lorna is a Postgraduate Research Student in the Department for Health. Lorna will be discussing how we understand antimicrobial resistance among older adults in the UK and will be speaking about recent social science studies which she has conducted with older people.
We’ll then hear about a bid submission which is led by Dr James Fletcher and Dr Diana Teggi. Working with a hospital-at-home team and an integrated care records initiative across B&NES, Swindon and Wiltshire, the AHEAD project will explore experimental initiatives using digital technologies to deliver later life healthcare outside traditional medical institutions.
There will be time for a Q&A after each of the talks.
