Lemon Tree is a 2008 Israeli film directed by Eran Riklis. It won multiple awards: Panorama Audience Award at the Berlin Film Festival, Best Performance by an Actress in the Asia Pacific Screen Awards and Best Screenwriter in the European Film Awards. The film tells the story of Salma Zidane, a Palestinian widow whose family has owned a lemon grove for generations, and her fight to protect it from Israeli security forces.
